"The Work of Byron Katie is a Blessing for the planet." Eckhart Tolle

Play in The Work

Who Said It Can't Be Fun?

Play In The Work is a lighthearted approach to The Work of Byron Katie.

Because The Work often addresses serious and painful issues, it sometimes comes with tears. But on the other side of the tears, there is almost always laughter. We laugh at ourselves, we laugh at our thoughts, and we laugh at what we do to ourselves when we believe our thoughts.

So while I agree that The Work can be challenging, no one will ever convince me that it isn't fun.

The laughter of children has always been a special kind of music to me, perhaps because I see it as the sound of innocence. It has a giggly, uninhibited quality that you don't often hear from grownups. But I am hearing that type of laughter more and more from my clients as they discover, some for the first time, their own sweet, innocent selves.

People do The Work for many reasons: it helps them solve problems, cure depression, get through hard times, stop beating themselves up.  And I do it for those reasons too.

But the real reason I do The Work is because it's so much fun.

Isn't it about time you had the giggles?
